We manage medical conditions through the Nutrition Care Process developed by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics which encompasses nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. Goal setting is strategic. Our patients learn how to manage conditions with nutrition components through meal planning and eating patterns that will minimize the impact of these conditions and prevent progression to other conditions. Often, patients are able to reduce and in some cases, even eliminate the use of medications. Weight management is often a key component.
